Republic of Nomashae

Ministry of Digital Environment & Natural Resources

Nomashae's landscapes are not just scenery — they are living parts of the Republic. This ministry protects them, studies them, and ensures every forest, canyon, and coastline is here for generations to come.

Active
What We Do

Responsibilities

Stewardship of everything wild, natural, and living within Nomashae's borders

Flora Management
Catalogues and protects the plant life across Nomashae's biomes — from flower forests and jungle canopies to underground cave flora. No species is too small to be accounted for.
Fauna & Wildlife
Oversees the animal populations of the Republic — tracking where they roam, ensuring they are not displaced by development, and maintaining healthy numbers across land, sea, and sky.
Landscape Preservation
Protects the natural terrain of Nomashae from unregulated alteration. Mountains, canyons, coasts, and ancient ruins are assessed before any development is permitted near them.
Aquatic Environments
Manages the rivers, oceans, and underground water systems of the Republic. Responsible for the health of aquatic life and the condition of every body of water within Nomashae's territory.
Development Oversight
Reviews all construction and resource extraction projects to ensure they do not cause lasting environmental damage. Works with other ministries to find sustainable solutions before ground is broken.
Environmental Records
Maintains a living record of Nomashae's natural world — documenting biomes, tracking changes over time, and preserving knowledge about regions that may one day be altered or lost.
Under Our Protection

Protected Natural Zones

These areas are open to citizens but regulated — preservation comes first

Mountains of Patola
Regulated

A vast mountain range whose peaks have stood long before Nomashae was founded. Hidden among the cliffs and ridgelines are the remnants of an ancient civilisation — ruins, carved stone, and structures whose origins are not fully understood. The mountains are open to exploration, but all building activity requires ministerial approval. The ruins are not to be dismantled or modified under any circumstances.

Ancient Ruins Mountain Range Heritage Site Build Restricted
Great Divine Canyon
Regulated

A massive canyon cutting deep into the earth — striking in scale and unlike anywhere else in Nomashae. Its lower depths are home to hostile cave fauna, making unsupported descent genuinely dangerous. The canyon walls and floor are protected from modification, and citizens venturing into the deeper sections do so at their own risk. Despite the hazards, it remains one of the most remarkable natural landmarks in the Republic.

Biome Catalogue

The known environments of Nomashae, as documented by this ministry

Flower Forests
Dense woodland biomes carpeted in wildflowers and tall grass. Among the most biodiverse regions in Nomashae — home to a wide variety of passive fauna and rare plant variants. Development here is subject to the strictest review.
Underground Cave Systems
A vast network of tunnels, caverns, and lush cave biomes beneath Nomashae's surface. Rich in minerals and cave flora — as well as hostile mobs. The ministry monitors cave-adjacent construction to prevent unintended collapses or ecosystem disruption.
Coastal & Ocean Regions
Nomashae's shorelines and open ocean contain coral reefs, ocean monuments, and a large variety of aquatic species. The ministry actively tracks ocean health and restricts pollution-causing activities near these regions.
Plains & Savanna
Wide open biomes that form the backbone of Nomashae's habitable terrain. Primary grazing grounds for horses, cows, and other passive wildlife. Often the site of new development — requiring careful coordination with this ministry.
The Nether Territories
Nomashae's access to the Nether is acknowledged and monitored. The hostile biomes found there — wastes, fortresses, and soul sand valleys — fall under this ministry's environmental records. Citizens enter at their own risk. No conservation applies — but knowledge of the terrain is maintained.
The Ground Rules

Environmental Law

What every citizen and developer must respect

I
No Unsanctioned Terraforming
Significant alterations to natural terrain — flattening mountains, draining lakes, clearing forests — require written approval from this ministry before any work begins.
II
Ruins Are Untouchable
Ancient structures, including those found in the Mountains of Patola, may not be modified, dismantled, or built over. They are cultural and historical assets of the Republic.
III
Protected Zones Stay Protected
Regulated zones may be explored freely, but construction, resource extraction, and permanent modification within their boundaries require direct ministerial sign-off.
IV
Wildlife Is Not a Resource
Mass culling of animal populations for materials is prohibited in designated zones. Sustainable harvesting is permitted — but the balance of wildlife must be maintained.
V
Report Environmental Damage
If a citizen discovers significant environmental damage — whether from griefers, accidents, or unregulated builds — they are expected to report it to the ministry so it can be assessed and restored.
VI
Development Must Leave Room for Nature
New cities and infrastructure must be designed with their natural surroundings in mind. Urban sprawl that consumes entire biomes without mitigation will not be approved.
